Netstal celebrates the sale of its 500th pre-owned machine
Injection molding machines from Näfels are known for their robustness and reliability. Netstal recently celebrated the sale of its 500th pre-owned machine.
Quick, precise and extremely durable. These are some of the primary characteristics that Netstal users across the globe value in their machines. That is why many customers prefer a pre-owned Netstal machine to new models of other manufacturers. Netstal recognised the underlying potential of this brand loyalty 10 years ago. The company has been offering pre-owned machines since then. Customers can always choose the condition of the machine that they want to purchase. Machines can be purchased "as is" without examination. But partial or complete revisions with a pre-owned machine warranty of up to 6 months are possible as well.
500 sold pre-owned machines
This summer, Fritz Beglinger, the head of Sales for pre-owned machines, and his team were able to celebrate a milestone when they sold the 500th pre-owned machine. On the occasion of the official handover of a fully revised ELION 800-270 to SKS AG, colleagues from the Revision and Sales departments got together with the customer for a toast.
"The very high repeatability over a long period of time and, most importantly, the long service life of the Netstal machines convinced us"Karl Steiner, owner and managing director of SKS AG
"Usually we only purchase new machines. In this case, however, we had to boost our capacities on very short notice. That is why we chose a revised pre-owned machine with a short run-time that was modified according to our wishes", said Karl Steiner, the owner and managing director of SKS AG.
Highest precision is required
At SKS AG, the "new" pre-owned machine will be used side-by-side with currently 11 additional Netstal ELION machines for the production of technical precision parts. In particular, SKS AG relies on Netstal in the area of high-volume multi-cavity molds. "The very high repeatability over a long period of time and, most importantly, the long service life of the Netstal machines convinced us", concluded Karl Steiner.
