Americas premiere of the ELIOS series

Big Americas premiere for the ELIOS series at NPE! For the first time in the Americas, the spotlight will be on a representative of Netstal's innovative high-speed series – in this case the ELIOS 7500-6000.

16 oz delicatessen containers (473ml) made from PP 5946WZ are produced using an 8+8 cavity stack mould from StackTeck. The cycle time of the exciting packaging application is about three seconds.  The system is completed by an efficient handling solution from CBW Automation.

"With ELIOS, Netstal has set the bar high for high-speed packaging injection moulding machines. The series is proving to be very popular on the North American market.  Since the market launch at the K 2016, we have recorded very good sales figures"
Matt Membrino, Head of Sales Netstal USA

ELIOS stands for perfect thin-walled packaging

"With ELIOS, our customers produce perfect thin-walled packaging at the lowest unit costs.  The fast clamping unit, the dynamic injection unit with two-valve technology and high process stability are the keys to success", said Matt Membrino, the head of sales at Netstal USA. Netstal impressively demonstrates its great packaging expertise with this application. The shot weight is 208 gram. With a flow path of 12.47 cm (4.9 inches) the flow path / wall thickness ratio is 314.

The delicatessen container with 8+8 cavities is produced with a cycle time of about 3 seconds.
